When Should I Replace My Roof?

Updated: Feb 27, 2019

Is your roof at least 20 years old? Are your neighbors getting new roofs? Are the edges of the shingles on your roof curling? These could be signs that you are due for a new roof and you should schedule a roof inspection to be done before your roof starts leaking which will lead to structural damage.

Other causes of concern are excessive moisture in your attic or water spots on your ceiling. If you notice granules in your gutters, this is a cause for concern. The granules on your shingles provide sun protection and when they start coming off the roof will be exposed to elements that will make your roof deteriorate faster.

If you notice any of the items listed above, call Veritas Roofers. Always a free estimate.
